What are the eligibility criteria for IV thrombolysis (IV alteplase, tPA)

Eligibility includes age ≥18 years, a clinical diagnosis of ischemic stroke causing a measurable
or significant neurologic deficit, and initiation of treatment within 3 hours of symptom onset;
treatment in the 3–4.5 hour window may also be considered.
